Encaustic Paintings

These works are inspired by my love of nature and landscape. Entrancing surfaces are created with beeswax, oil and gold leaf. Transparent and opaque textured layers create subtle contrast. Compositional elements are carved into many of the works. These works were shown at Square One Gallery in Claremont and/or La Gitana Gallery in San Fernando 2012-2013.
